HPEA Membership Services & Criteria

Houston Private Equity Association holds 5-6 Association-only events per year, usually on the second Thursday of odd-numbered months. For Association-only events, HPEA typically allows only members to attend or invited potential members.

From time to time, HPEA may participate in or jointly sponsor an event with other associations or institutions.

HPEA also publishes a directory of members for member-use only and can list member news releases on its web site (click on Publications). Additional or confidential information is available in the Member Area under Publications.

Membership Criteria

To be considered for membership, a firm must be a manager of one or more pools of risk equity and equity-linked capital invested, or designated for investment, in venture capital or private equity transactions in part or in whole in the Greater Houston Area. Such firms must have at least $5 million in risk capital under management. HPEA's Board of Directors may, at its sole discretion, make any exceptions to such criteria for an applicant.
